A striking marquise ruby surrounded by bright, beautifully arranged diamonds, all set in platinum.

At the centre of this statement ring is a dramatic 1.74ct marquise-cut ruby, its elongated shape framed by a scalloped halo of 14 round brilliant-cut diamonds. A further two baguette-cut diamonds sit at the shoulders, adding a lovely Art Deco-inspired geometry to the design.

The diamonds have a combined estimated weight of approximately 0.62ct, assessed as G–H colour, with the round brilliant diamonds assessed at VS2–SI1 clarity and the baguettes at VS1–VS2. The contrast between the vivid pinkish-red ruby and crisp white diamonds is particularly striking against the platinum setting.

The substantial cluster measures approximately 19mm x 13.5mm, giving the ring wonderful finger coverage without losing the elegance of the marquise silhouette. Crafted in hallmarked platinum, the ring has a reassuring gross weight of 6.40g.

The central ruby has been assessed as heavily fracture healed, a treatment used to improve the appearance of natural ruby. This is reflected transparently in the description and should be taken into account when caring for or undertaking future work on the ring.
